DILUTION EXTRACTIVE CEMS:

State of the art components are chosen for your specific application
Out of Stack and In-Stack dilution sample probes with varying dilution ratios in the critical orifice are utilized.  Critical probe parts are heated to prevent condensation of moisture prior to sample dilution.  Critical orifice is located ex-situ for ease of maintenance.  Filtering is accomplished through a fine filter element as well as fine glass wool. Additional filtering is achieved through the use of a sintered prefilter located on the probe tip. An accumulator tank charged with instrument air is used to create a more effective purge during blowback.  The sample is temperature and pressure corrected which is imperative for correct operation.  A typical sample line for high dilution ratios is freeze protected, however with lower dilution ratios used in varying applications, heated sample line may be suggested.  Sample lines include:
3 each  - 3/8” lines for sample, dilution and purge air, calibration gas, pressure etc.

Dilution CEMS

The dilution and air cleanup panels are an integral part of the dilution CEM system operation.  The rack mounted dilution control system contains solenoid valves, filters, scrubbers, flow meters, pressure regulators and gauges.  The air cleanup panel removes SO2, NOx, CO, THC, CO2 and moisture from the instrument air, which is critical to the dilution air being utilized by the critical orifice.

CEMTEK chooses the right analyzer for your application and gases being measured.  Chemiluminescence is always used for NOx, pulsed fluorescence UV is utilized for SO2, and NDIR or Gas Filter Correlation technique for CO and CO2.  When O2 is required, a sample will be drawn from the probe before the critical orifice or an insitu O2 can be used. The system is monitored and controlled with a PLC, which performs the housekeeping functions as well as sending the CEMS signals to your DCS or our DAHS.
